The excitement was truly mounting when Murray stables won Race 1, 3 and 4 at Wagga on day one of the Wagga Gold Cup Carnival this month.
Fastnet Flyer was our first winner when he took out the NSW Racehorse Owners Association Maiden Handicap 1400m.
New Zealand bred, Life of Reilly, was our second winner in the Harrisons Joinery Country Class 1 Maiden Handicap 1600m.
Sure and Fast then ran in the Inglis Bonus 2yo Handicap 1200m. His was a very sweet victory indeed as it had the $50,000 Inglis Bonus attached, which he was eligible for, much to the delight of his owners. This is the second consecutive year that Bede has won this lucrative race and being involved in the ownership for both wins made it all the better!
