At the Sapphire Coast race meet on Saturday, 29 September 2012, we experienced a rare occurrence in racing – the three Murray trainers, Bede, Graeme and Paul, each had a winner.

First up in Race 1, Ashiana, trained by Bede and ridden by Tara-Jane Mitchell, our apprentice jockey, won the John Law/Kevin Sweeney Premier Trainer/Jockey Maiden Plate.

Then in Race 5, Quarter Hennessy, trained by Graeme and again ridden by Tara-Jane, won the Jason Warren Homecoming Class 2 Handicap.

Finally, in the last race of the day, Race 6, Hussy Erin, trained by Paul and ridden by Kevin Sweeney, won the AG Potter Memorial Class 1.

It was a memorable day of racing for the Murray Family!
