It was a great day of racing for the Murray's at the Mollymook Cup Race Meeting at the Shoalhaven City Turf Club on 23 October.

Cheerful Dane gave Bede his seventh win in the Mollymook Cup.  The spirited filly flew home to beat favourite, Purring Flyer, by half a neck. His previous winners were Master Strategy in 2006, Tell the Court 2001, Dublace 2000, Kalohari Sand 1998, Keelhaul 1986 and Sure and Fast in 1979.

Bede had another winner on the day with Barking Orders who experienced her first win in the Kennedy & Cooke Sussex Inlet Maiden Plate 1000m.

Spinning Lass, trained by Paul, also won her first race in the Raine & Horne Real Estate 3yo Maiden Plate 1200m.

All our horses were ridden by Grant Buckley who had a great day with four winners in total.
