The Provincial Midway Qualifier run at Newcastle on 1 March proved to be a thrilling battle in the last 100 metres. Welcometobarbados was first past the post, a nose in front of Lord Of Biscay with Matcha Latte a nose away in third place. Welcometobarbados has built up an impressive record winning five of her past six starts. Paul is extremely proud of the mare who he says gets better every time she goes to the races. We can’t wait to see what she can to in the Championships at Randwick in April!
