Lady Redwood is loving the city scenery and had an exciting win at Warwick Farm on 2 October 2023. The Impressive progeny of Redwood flew home to win the Exceedance @ Vinery Stud Handicap 2200m. She was beautifully ridden by apprentice jockey, Anna Roper. Anna had earlier ridden Lady Redwood for a second at Kembla Grange and Paul asked her to take her on again for her next start. The win at Warwick Farm was a first Metropolitan win for both horse and jockey. The win was especially sweet for Anna who had endured seven months on the sideline after sustaining a serious knee injury.
