It was a long time coming but we are so happy that perseverance has paid off and Press Statement mare, Media Chick, has finally had a much sought-after win. She was racing at the Sapphire Coast on 24 July in the Hotel Australasia Maiden Plate 1400m. Her jockey was Jean Van Overmeir who rode her to a very close victory, pipping Inspired Dream at the post.
