Murray stables always enjoy the trip to Grafton for their carnival and this year saw us claim two wins, a second and a third for our efforts.
Fiercely Defiant, beautifully ridden by Blake Shinn, won The Ray White Big Maiden Handicap 1200m by an impressive two-and-a half lengths from Perfect Star and Cane Ash.
Sankara Spirit nudged out the opposition in a photo finish and won the Mark Bloomer Transport Benchmark 65 Handicap 1400m.
Life of Reilly was pipped at the post and had to make do with second in the Grafton Radio Taxis Benchmark 65 Handicap 1700m.
Our third place went to Darci's Affair in the Central Coast Coolrooms CG&E Class 2 Handicap 1200m.
