Four-year-old Darci Be Good found his form again in the Group 3 Hawkesbury Gold Gup (1600m) on 8 November.  Accompanied by stable mates World Wide and Alma's Fury, Darci Be Good ran an aggressive race with leading female rider, Kathy O'Hara, on his back.

Bede was initially thinking of saving Darci Be Good for another race but his owners in the Illawarra Turf Club Syndicate wanted him to run so Bede agreed – a wise decision.

He will now be prepared for the Group 2 Villiers Stakes (1600m) on December 22 at Warwick Farm.
