World Wide continued his winning streak by taking his third win in a row in the Grafton Guineas on Wednesday, 14 July at Grafton. A great barrier draw and ride ensured World Wide was never going to be beaten once they jumped.
Another impressive winner was See the Universe who, despite a wide barrier draw, sat behind the leader and then streaked away at the finish to win by three lengths.
Murray Stables narrowly missed having three winners in one day when Universal Sound lost by a nose to take second place in the Roches Family Hotel Handicap (1700m).
All three horses were ridden by impressive Sydney jockey, Blake Shinn.
