Star Sydney jockey, Tommy Berry, was the honoured guest at the Narooma Cup meet held at Moruya on 5 January 2015. His long association with Bede saw him put his hand up for some rides, which Bede delivered. The hightlight of the day was Tommy riding Life of Reilly, the seven year old son of champion sire, O'Reilly, in the Narooma Cup. Neither horse nor jockey disappointed with the heavily backed favourite coming home strong and winning by a length.
