O’Reilly’s Revenge showed his class at the Murrumbidgee Turf Club on 23 December by winning the feature race of the meet, the Ted Ryder Cup. Jockey, Jeff Penza, rode him perfectly to position the gelding just of the speed and held on in an exciting finish to win by half a head over Le Cavalier.
