Saturday, 16 April 2011 proved a fine day of racing for Bede at Royal Randwick.  Race 1, the Fernhill Handicap 1600m listed race, saw New Zealand bred colt, Darci Be Good, take the winning honours in his first time at this distance, in only his third start. The impressive colt was ridden by Black Caviar's jockey, Luke Nolen, who believes he will make a nice three year old.  Following close behind Darci Be Good was another of Bede's charges, Continental Flyer, who placed a convincing third. Whilst Bede would have liked to have scored the Exacta with these two he was more than happy with the result.  Both horses are now going out to the paddock for a well-earned rest.
